I wasn't always a Ted talking, Higher Ed leader, Educator and Coach. In fact, for a long time, I was the quiet one in the room. The one with the good ideas that never made it to the table. The one who’d rehearse the perfect point in her head but never quite found the courage to say it out loud. The one who showed up, did the work but still got overlooked in meetings, in boardrooms, and in opportunities.

Yeah, that was me.

But there came a moment where I realized playing small wasn’t helping anyone. Not the people I wanted to serve. Not the leaders I wanted to influence. And definitely not the version of me I knew I could become.

So I did the scary thing. I leaned into my fear. And I found my voice. Not the loudest voice. Not the most polished voice. But the voice that felt the most like…me. Authentic, powerful, and full of purpose. And wouldn’t you know it? That voice landed me on the TEDx stage. That voice opened doors to work with local organizations, universities and companies like State Farm. That voice transformed me from someone who often shrunk at the thought of using her voice, into someone who now helps others expand.

Now, as a keynote speaker and content delivery coach, I help  teams, and aspiring professionals speak with confidence when it matters most. Whether it's in the boardroom, the Zoom room, or on the main stage. Because your voice is your leadership superpower. And it’s time you started using it.

From Quiet Observer to Powerhouse Communicator.
